PSA Oxygen Generators

Produce oxygen on site for normal demand, peak support or backup strategy.

PSA oxygen generators separate oxygen from compressed air to provide an on-site oxygen source. Marine Blue integrates PSA systems for oxygenation, high-density culture and backup applications where the project duty and operating strategy justify them.

01

Operating principle

Compressed air passes through adsorption media that preferentially retain nitrogen during one stage of the cycle. Alternating vessels allow oxygen-enriched gas to be produced while the media regenerate.

02

Role in the system

The generator is one part of an oxygen system that may also include air preparation, receiver or buffer storage, oxygen-quality monitoring, distribution piping, dissolution equipment, alarms and emergency supply.

03

Applications

  • RAS facilities
  • Indoor shrimp and fish production
  • Hatcheries and nurseries
  • Live holding
  • Oxygen backup and peak-demand support

04

Integration requirements

Coordinate the PSA package with oxygen cones, injectors or other transfer devices; storage; distribution; pressure regulation; analyzers; controls; alarms; ventilation and emergency oxygen. Oxygen-compatible materials and procedures are essential.

05

Operation and maintenance

The plan should cover compressors, filtration, dryers, adsorption vessels, valves, analyzers, cooling, ventilation and scheduled service. Operators must understand alarm conditions and the transition to backup supply.

06

Customer value

On-site generation can reduce dependence on delivered oxygen for defined operating conditions and create a controllable supply source. Economics, reliability and capacity require project-specific assessment.
