Control Panels & Automation

Turn process conditions into visible information and timely action.

Control panels and automation coordinate equipment operation, sensor inputs, alarms, interlocks and data functions across aquaculture life-support systems. Marine Blue integrates controls according to the process, risk strategy and operator capability.

01

Operating principle

Sensors measure selected conditions; control logic compares them with defined operating rules; panels operate equipment or notify staff through alarms and interfaces. Automation is only as reliable as sensor placement, calibration, power, logic and response procedures.

02

Role in the system

Controls help coordinate pumps, blowers, oxygen systems, UV, ozone, filtration, water levels and environmental interfaces. They should make the process more understandable, not hide critical dependencies.

03

Applications

  • RAS and indoor facilities
  • Hatcheries and nurseries
  • Biofloc and Aquaponics
  • Aeration and oxygen systems
  • Water-treatment plants
  • Remote or centralized supervision where appropriate

04

Integration requirements

Develop the input/output list with the equipment and process design. Coordinate sensors, actuators, panels, communications, emergency stops, power backup, alarm recipients and SOPs.

05

Operation and maintenance

Calibrate sensors, test alarms and interlocks, inspect panels and field devices, manage backups and access, and maintain a record of set-point or logic changes.

06

Customer value

Well-designed controls improve visibility, coordination and response. They do not remove the need for trained operators, routine inspection or independent emergency planning.
